Ghanaian veteran actor, Kofi Middleton Mends has died.
He died on Tuesday at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra after battling a kidney disease.
His daughter, Araba Botchwey, confirmed his death on Wednesday.
Until his demise, Kofi Middleton was a lecturer at the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI) and the University of Ghana.
He featured in Shirley Frimpong-Manso’s Grey Dawn where he played the role of Kweku Yankah.
He also featured in ‘Key Soap medo fo pa’ TV commercial which was very popular in the 90's.
He also starred in other productions like No Tears for Ananse.
