Let’s reignite our love for God —Michael Danso
GOSPEL artiste, Michael Danso is certain the growing lawlessness in the society is a reflection of lack of love and affection for God and humanity.
The world and particularly Christians, were failing to abide by their religious doctrines and teachings of “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength and to love your neighbour as yourself”.
Michael told Graphic Showbiz that he has been inspired to correct the bad narrative with his upcoming song, Odo scheduled for release on Saturday, October 15.

He stated that the new song is a call to reignite our love for God and humanity since they were essential requirements for the sustenance of the world.

“It is for this reason that God has blessed me with a timely, concise, and accurate message in my new single titled Odo (Love). In Revelation 2:5, Jesus told the church of Ephesus, ‘Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.’
“This shows that loving God is total submission to His word and ways. The lack of this love however doesn’t mean that there is no relationship with God. It only means that humans have to change their ways and that is why I’m entreating people to return to their first love with Odo,” he said.
A graduate of Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ), Michael Danso is a trained journalist and Public Relations Officer. However, his professional schedules have not hindered his commitments to using music to cause the change he wants to see.
He has a number of songs such as He Never Fails featuring Joe Mettle, Divine Favour, Aseda, Dance of Love and Beko Ma Me. Michael is very hopeful that Odo will equally bring transformation to listeners.
“It is a scary reality that many people have departed from their first love and allowed other things to take over their lives. I’m therefore appealing to patrons to stream and download the song across the digital music platforms when it is released and let the message ring stronger in their hearts than lyrics and beat composition,” he stated.
