Love brewed at Accra City Hotel’s Special Weekend of Love
In their introductory remarks at Accra City Hotel’s Weekend of Love on Friday, February 17, the comperes, Wofa Kay and Blessing Frimpong of Gh One TV had assured couples of great moments of love and creation of beautiful memories.
Of course, the patrons who had gotten into the lovey-dovey moods already by the love setup and designs, backed by a saxophonist who created just the right air needed for the occasion, knew it was going to be a moment of “serious” love affair.
With the message of love being the focus, singer Rino The Singer set the ball rolling with some of his love-themed songs such as Odo Ntoma, Mame Nkwan Tenten and Go Down, Go Low.

By the time he was done with his performances, the couples who had perfectly settled got served with more love tunes when Charisma Logo took his turn.
Interacting with guests as a go-between acts, the songster got people to appreciate the essence of love with his stagecraft.
Hosted by Accra City Hotel, Special Weekend of Love, which was in partnership with Graphic Showbiz was a means to appreciate their customers and to equally give them a feel of goodness in February, considered to be the month of love.
Even though her presence on stage was short since the night had far gone, relationship coach, Abena Manokekame still made a good impression on the minds of couples to always let love lead.
Perhaps, the highlight on the night was Lekzy Decomic’s performance which had guests in stitches throughout his session.
There was also a banquet in the form of a buffet with a large variety of food from starters, main dishes and desserts; lots to drink from wines, beers, cocktails, fruit juices to soft drinks.

There is no way chocolate will be missing on an occasion to mark Valentine’s Day and couples had some sweet and branded Accra City Hotel chocolates as well.
As such, the event which was a mixture of music, comedy, love talk and dinner was a continuation of the celebration of Valentine’s Day and there’s no doubt that love birds and singles had a good feel of everything served on the night.
There were also messages from Accra City Hotel as the organiser and sponsors: Cheezy Pizza, SS Wellness Spa, Bel Aqua and Graphic Showbiz.
In a chat with Graphic Showbiz, Mr and Mrs Arhin who had been married for over 32 years shared the secret of the success of their marriage.
