Medikal: I believe in John Mahama

Rapper Medikal has confessed his total belief in president elect, John Dramani Mahama, encouraging him to transform the lives of the youth.

In a series of post on Twitter(X), Omo Ada artiste, challenged him to seek the welfare of the youth when he is sworn into office

“Let it be known to the incoming president, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama that,I do not trust him but rather believe in him. Let this new change be exhibited drastically ! If not for anything, he should foresee the generation of Sharaf, ‘a good friend of mine (His Son) and the betterment of the youth in Ghana and beyond. Thank you,” he said.

In a move that has been widely applauded, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP), has conceded defeat to former President John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the December 7 Presidential and Parliamentary election. Although the Electoral Commission of Ghana has announced that it will officially announce the results at 4:30 pm today, Dr. Bawumia acknowledged John Mahama's victory in a public address broadcast from his residence on Sunday, December 8.

In his concession speech, Dr. Bawumia expressed his gratitude to Ghanaians for the opportunity to serve as Vice President and presidential candidate. 

He also acknowledged the provisional results from the NPP's internal collation, which indicated a victory for the opposition NDC and its candidate, John Mahama.

Dr. Bawumia's concession has been seen as a significant moment in Ghana's democratic history, demonstrating his commitment to peaceful transfer of power and respect for the democratic process.
