Since it started in 2015, “Dashiki Fest” which attracts hundreds of people has become one of the most patronised events on Ghana’s entertainment calendar.
According to the comedian who has been using his craft and platform to promote relevant issues, “Dashiki Fest” has helped to educate as well as promote healthy lifestyles among people particularly the youth.
“Health is very important but we take it for granted so Dashki Fest has been a means to educate people about healthy lifestyles. We just don’t have fun but let me understand the need to be healthy,” he told Graphic Showbiz.
This year’s Dashiki walk is sponsored by 1XBet with support from Stepford Multimedia, Hydout, and Finish Point.
After building a large following through his skits on social media, MJ who is also a content creator, comic actor and event host organised his maiden standup comedy event dubbed Cedi vs Dollar last year.
