Oak Plaza hotel to honour KK Fosu
Highlife musician, Kaakyire Kwame Fosu popularly known as KK Fosu, is set to be honoured at the maiden edition of Oak Plaza’s Dinner with the Stars on the December 30.

KK Fosu recently re-plunged himself onto the music scene with three new singles titled: “Pani Di Pani”, “Adekye Nsroma” and “Enkasa”.
The Pani Di Pani won him nominations in this year’s MTN 4syte Music Video Awards in the Best Male Video of the Year and Best Highlife Video of the Year categories.
In a chat with Showbiz, KK said he is very happy and honoured to be the recipient of such an honour. “This would be a wonderful way to end such a stressful and hardworking year”, he said.
He disclosed he would be releasing his upcoming album Am Back next year. “I will also start Am Back Live Tour around the world which would be my first full live band tour organised by my management”, he added.
According to Ms Semira Anku, Group Sales & Marketing Manager of Oak Plaza Hotel, KK Fosu has paid his dues over the years and needs to be appreciated.
“We researched and found out that KK Fosu has been very instrumental on the Highlife scene and it is only fair to honour him for his contributions.
She also indicated that this is going to be a quarterly affair so the general public should expect the name of the next person to be honoured after this event.

Ms Anku said the event which is expected to attract high profiled industry players and corporate Ghana will see KK Fosu celebrated with a plaque, his name engraved on the Oak Plaza Wall of Fame as well as a lot of goodies from the hotel.
