Osagyefo tells Graphic Showbiz that doing what he calls conscious music has been a drawback but he will not succumb to any pressure to go with what is trending.
“With commercial music, you can easily get the attention of the masses but when you touch on sensitive or topical issues, hardly do you get noticed.
“I have been around for a while and those in the Reggae fraternity know my works. I always love to address issues that cause change and I’m proud of the songs I make,” he stated in a recent interview with Graphic Showbiz.
Presently, Osagyefo is prepping for the release of his latest Serious Times EP on Saturday, November 4.
The EP has songs like Ghana, Badmind, Commentator, Live The Life You Love among others.
The new EP is produced by Zap Mallet and Ibee Ondabeatz. Osagyefo originally started his music career in Kumasi as a Raggamuffin with the stage name Ragga but gradually evolved into a Reggae artiste.
