Promoting Ebony Reigns put me in debt — Bullet

RuffTown Records CEO Ricky Nana Agyemang, commonly known as Bullet, has disclosed that he is still settling debts he accumulated while promoting the late Ghanaian musician Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng.

According to him, despite the public belief that he made substantial money during the early part of the singer’s career, the truth was quite different.

Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo on UTV’s Atuu on March 7, 2026, Bullet stated that many of the accusations made against him after Ebony’s death were unjust and misleading.

He explained that during Ebony’s lifetime, they were not earning much from streams or performances.

“When she was alive, we didn’t make streams. We were not even earning much from the shows we played. When she died, a lot of things were said. They wanted to paint a picture that I was misusing her funds. Which money exactly are they talking about?” he questioned.

Bullet also addressed claims that he had disagreements with Ebony’s father over alleged properties belonging to the late singer.

“They were even saying I was fighting with Ebony’s dad over her properties. Which artist in Ghana here has acquired properties in two years?” he asked.

The RuffTown boss further revealed that he invested heavily in Ebony’s career before she gained widespread recognition, adding that he had to take loans from people to support her promotion.

“They have no idea what I went through, but because she was everywhere, people thought things were smooth. I’m still paying debts till now. I invested a lot of money in her before she became famous. I took loans from people just to promote her, but I doubt if people know this,” he said. he added.
