Though the news of her marriage became rife in the entertainment circles last year, the pair vehemently denied it but information available to Showbiz from credible sources indicates that the talented music hit maker is to earn the title of “Missus” by the end of the year.

Raquel is said to have met Creppy, her husband-to-be, in the UK where both of them lived and where they started doing their “lovi lovi” before they came down to Ghana.

In 2011 when Raquel and Black Boy were co-hosts for the Rhythms show on GTV after the exit of Jocelyn Dumas, the latter during one of his presentations live on set congratulated Raquel in anticipation of her marriage which was scheduled to take place soon but had to be cancelled at the last hour.

The “filla” that went round at the time was that Raquel was not cool with her Dad as far as her proposed marriage to her long-time boyfriend- turned- manager was concerned.

When Showbiz met with the lovers this week, Creppy appeared quite excited when asked a question about the date to expect their wedding. Raquel would not speak and left Creppy to do all the talking. He just gave out a loud laughter after which he described the question as the “weirdest” he had heard in a year.

Even though he didn’t deny knowing Raquel back in the UK before hitting the limelight in showbiz with her music as reported earlier, Creppy was not fortright with his answer and rather asked why his marriage to Raquel, even if it true, should be of interest to the public.

“I won’t deny that I have known Raquel for a very long time and we are very close because of what we do together but the widespread discussion of our marriage in the media thrills me anytime I hear it. Yes, I am Raquel’s manager and a close pal but we getting together as husband and wife, I have no idea. I can tell you that Raquel is not getting married to me or anyone else” he said amidst laughter.

However if it turns out that the five times nominee at last year’s Ghana Music Awards should settle down with her manager she will be following the steps of  artistes like Gifty Osei, Herty Borngreat and Akosua Agyapong whose husbands manage both their businesses and their hearts.
