The young man is a remarkable player who has performed with notable acts like Danny Nettey, Joe Mettle, No Tribe, Stella Seal, Cwesi Oteng, Eugene Zuta, Francis Amo, Dr. Ron Kenoly, Michelle Hammond (USA) and Uche Agu (Nigeria).

He knows the bass guitar is much more than just a simple accompanying instrument and set out sometime ago to bring out his own stuff.

This new God Can single, which goes on general release tomorrow, August 18, follows previous ones, I Surrender All and Greatest.
“This new song seeks to inspire people from all walks of life about the power of God,” says the bold bassist.

The piece emphasises that God is able to do everything no matter the circumstances we find ourselves in. It is a sweet ballad that sounds even sweeter on knowing that the release date is also the musician’s birthday.

“It is a gift to the world on such an important day in my life,” Sanaa says.

God Can was composed, written, arranged and produced by Sanaa. It was mastered by David ‘Kaywa’ Kyei. Lead vocals was by Yaw Boakye while Dave Jloopz provided the strings and orchestral input. Danny Toffey and Francisca Agaglo did the backing vocals.

Founder and leader of the PL Crew which is widely regarded as the nation’s premier gospel band, Sanaa says his big dream is to help break the monotony that surrounds a lot of the gospel songs produced in this country.

God Can is another example from him to prove he is walking the talk.
