With political polarisation being a threat to the unending calls for national unity, ‘Kosua Ne Meko’ directed by David Chapman Quayson tackles the growing menace.
Kosua Ne Meko is a story about two families with different political leanings. Their support for different political parties has created hostility with both families attacking each other at the least chance.
Interestingly, love comes calling and they get themselves in a web of a fancy love story.
But how does this love story end? The answers will be provided at CNC at 6:00pm and 8:00pm when the two shows come off respectively.
The cast of the play include Opana P.O.P, Papa Bings, Honorable, Kabutey, Naa Atwɛɛ, Rev. Bling Bling and Omo Naija.
In a chat with Graphic Showbiz, Gideon Nana Asmah of Smile Fun House said the play is intended to highlight the negative sides of political enmity and its adverse effects on development.

“Since time immemorial, partisan politics and the urge for political parties to support blindly has been thought to contribute to economic failures.
“We want to take the audience through a journey of how political differences hinder development and also how politicians ride on this to amass wealth for themselves without caring about the citizens,” he said.
Nana Asmah said ‘Kosua Ne Meko’ is a roller coaster of emotions, laughter, betrayal and suspense.
