The tour which starts early March will see Patience Nyarko in some selected tertiary and senior high schools talking about the dangers of sharing nude pictures.

“Apart from the tertiary and secondary schools, I also plan to visit some few selected Junior High School (JHS) schools and I am starting with my Alma Mata, Roman Catholic JHS at Assin Fosu” she told Showbiz in an interview last week.

According to Patience, she decided to embark on this campaign because of the alarming rate nude pictures of people especially, the young ones, are leaked on various social media platforms in Ghana lately.

According to her, one stands the risk of his or her nude pictures landing into the wrong hands and could be used for different purposes. She says it is inappropriate for anyone else apart from one’s husband or wife to see one’s nakedness.

“In fact, my desire to talk to the youth against sharing of nude pictures started when I recently received such photos on my Facebook wall from my fans.

“I was shocked when I received three different nude pictures on my Facebook wall. I was however able to get their numbers and spoke to them on how inappropriate it was to send their naked pictures to another person.

Speaking to them, I realised the exchange of nude pictures is rampant among the youth so my team and I decided to go to some selected schools in Accra and Kumasi to educate them on the dangers of that act” she said.

Talking about the tour, Patience, who said she would be backed by her colleague gospel musicians, said she will perform for 10 minutes in each of the schools before talking to them.

Although the nomination for this year’s  VGMA has not been released yet,  Patience Nyarko believes her  song, W’afom Kwan,  was very huge last year and has  the chance of grabbing  at least three awards in the category of Best Gospel album,  Gospel Artiste of the year  and Gospel song of the year.

She stated that her competitors Nicholas Omane Acheampong, Kofi Gyan and Obaapa Christ, can attest to the fact that W’afom Kwan had more impact compared to their songs and would not be surprised if she wins the three awards.

To her, this year is hers because she has a lot in stock for fans and Ghanaians as a whole. “W’afom Kwan   was well received by Ghanaians and what I have this year is  much crazier”, she concluded.
