Teen Queen Ghana takes flight
The inaugural episode of the Teen Queen Ghana reality show soared to new heights with a dazzling unveiling ceremony broadcast live on Accra-based CTV last Saturday.
Ten delegates — Adoma, Dansoa, Kessewaa, Yaa Kwaah, Ehun, Asiedua, Yaaba, Nana Ama, Sese, and Barikisu — showcased brilliance in their performances, capturing the admiration of both the audience and judges Charity Twumasi Ankrah, renowned for Chatma Herbal Clinic, and Terrance.

The delegates endeared themselves to the sizable audience through vibrant cultural displays, poetry, singing, and dancing.
Following the two-hour show, Yaa Kwaah emerged as the standout performer and most eloquent contestant, while Nana Ama secured the best costume award.
The eight-week-long show, tailored for girls aged 13 to 19, will continue this weekend, with delegates tasked to address challenges faced by female teens.
Reflecting on the event, Afua Asantewaa O Aduonum, CEO of ASKOF Productions, the organizers, said in a post-event interview, "It's been awesome. Being the maiden edition, we expected some teething challenges, which are normal for every event, but I must say they were minimal. Kudos to the hardworking CTV crew and my team — Freddie Fosu, Eugene Ofori, Ike Amponsah, Efya Trendy, and Felicity Sampah."
She added, "We've just begun, but I can promise we are in for a real show. We expect the very best from our delegates. They have shown that given the chance, they will indeed wow us, as stated in simple terms."
The winner of the competition is set to receive a travel opportunity outside the country and other prizes from sponsors.
