Ignorance characterized Prince Charles' visit - Fuse ODG
Afrobeat artiste, Fuse ODG has taken issue with the Royal welcome given Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales on a recent visit to Ghana.
“They don’t dance when we go there…so why are we dancing?” he quizzed.

Fuse ODG in a post on Instagram criticized Ghanaians for overhyping the visit of Prince Charles.
The UK-based Ghanaian musician stated that the Royal visit to Ghana was part of an agenda to benefit the United Kingdom.
“We need to be careful the way we host other people that don’t look like us, especially the people that are coming on agenda that do not benefit us.”

“We are so ignorant in so many different ways, from the billboards we allow to be placed in our country by foreign countries, we are too accommodating sometimes, as a people, instead of filtering the kind of companies or agenda we allow into the country, we need to filter it.”
Fuse ODG also lamented about how Ghanaian school children are handed flags and directed to stand by the roadside to welcome foreign visitors.
Clarifying his comments in an interview on Hitz FM, the artist explained that Europeans had already enslaved Africans, freed them and are now back to check up on the countries.
“The whole thing was just wrong… They came to check up on their kids, we are still slaves,” he alleged.

The “Antenna” hitmaker believes that Europeans should rather spend their time apologizing and paying reparations for what they have done to Africans.
The Prince of Wales and his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall visited Ghana between November 2 - November 6, 2018.
