Tidal Rave Festival team meets IGP to discuss a smooth experience for ravers

The team curating the 2023 experience for the Tidal Rave Festival has met the Inspector General of Police (IGP) of the Ghana Police Service, Dr George Akuffo Dampare to discuss security support for this year’s festival.

The meeting, which took place in the office of the IGP concluded with the IGP offering the support of the Ghana Police Service to the organizers of the festival.

Tidal Rave Festival, which is a youth cultural festival, is set to make another return this year to mark the 10th edition of the festival in Ghana. This year’s festival promises an immersive and unforgettable experience for Ravers and music lovers. Taking place on the 14th of October, 2023 in Ghana and this December in Liberia, this year's edition of the Tidal Rave Festival is driven by the theme “The New Rave.”

Over the previous 9 editions of the festival, A-list musicians including Sarkodie, Black Sherif, R2Bees, JoeyB, KiDi, Medikal, La Meme Gan, Gyakie, Kwesi Arthur, among others. To mark the 10th edition, the festival is once again set to line up another impressive list of music acts who will bring the jams to the Tidal Rave Stage.

“We are very excited and thankful to the IGP and the Ghana Police Service for availing their men and women to provide support for the festival,” Bright Ayaaba, the Chief Operating Officer of EchoHouse Ghana Limited, the organizers of Tidal Rave Festival said in a statement after the meeting with the IGP.

“This year, we are celebrating the 10th edition of the festival in Ghana and we want Ravers to have an ultimate experience,” he said.

“The festival comes with new experiences that speak to the passion points of young Ghanaians and Africans as a whole,” he added.
