Victoria bags another endorsement deal
She has not been in the industry for long but actress, Victoria Lebene Mekpah, has been snapping up lucrative endorsement roles all over the place.
In the last three years, she has worked as an ambassador for Verna Mineral Water, and is currently an ambassador for First Choice Salon, Oasis Medspa, a skin care company based in Nigeria.
And just last week, she was made an ambassador for Pineapple Cosmetics.
On how she has been able to do it, the Trapped In a Cage actress told Showbiz on Monday that, “the secret is that I am able to express a high level of enthusiasm in everything I do and on my social platforms.
Branding wasn't paid much attention to some years ago but in our generation, it's a big deal.
“The image you build determines how credible you become and I have personally invested in my brand over the past few years and I don't care how long it takes me to make branding a necessity. This is what sells me.”
She added, “My brand is an active one involved in marketing other brands or corporate bodies.
My passion to be an actress and photo model is to give me familiarity in the public so I can sell other brands to them.”
Victoria hopes to hit the international world with her brand, “It will be a pleasure for me to see the brand grow much bigger and compete with other brands in Africa and the world.”
She urged her colleagues to take branding seriously. “Branding is something they should not joke with, the movies will fade, new faces will come up but what will make you relevant and set you apart is your brand, hence, the need to invest in it.”
Pineapple Cosmetics are beauty products by Monna Cosmetics based in Turkey and they have a wide range of beauty products.
African representative of Pineapple Cosmetic,s Mrs Shirley Verritas Abba Owusu Agyemang said Victoria was the right person to help them deliver on their goals.
“We have followed her for some time now and we have seen the passion with which she works especially when it comes to her marketing skills.
What she stands for is something people respect and would want to associate with.”
Victoria was was a contestant on the Next Movie Star in 2014 and has appeared in films like Ultimate Story, Trapped in a Cage, The Storm and After the Sunset.
