Welcome to a Gold Coast treat

When the Gold Coast Restaurant,   located at the Excel near Nyaho Clinic, at the Airport Residential Area in Accra  formally opens to the public on April 3, patrons are likely to be bowled over by the visual treats that add a charming ambience to the eatery.

Set to be a restaurant with a cultural difference, Gold Coast boasts of a unique walk-in gallery of vintage photographs from the Gold Coast era and of legendary musicians such as Osibisa, Jewel Ackah, Gyedu Blay Ambolley and Ebo Taylor. 

The bar also displays iconic covers of music albums from Ghanaian greats such as Dr K. Gyasi, E. T.  Mensah, Ramblers,  and Uhuru Dance Band.  

“It is a  visual treat that carries an aroma of history in the midst of  the culinary delights of the restaurant,” said a spokesperson for Gold Coast.
