Trees along Mamfe/Kwamoso road also need attention!

The recent exercise of cutting down trees on the Haatso/Atomic road came as a source of delight to many road users.
In the same vein, it will be appreciated if this exercise is extended to the Mamfe/Kwamoso stretch of the Madina/Koforidua highway.
Apart from the weekly accidents that occur on that stretch, the heavy downpours of rain with their attendant windstorms usually cause trees to fall on the road, posing danger to both motorists and pedestrians.
In certain cases, electric poles fall down, creating panic and fear among residents on the stretch.
We appeal to the stakeholders to heed this urgent call, particularly in the light of the forecasts of heavy rains and severe windstorms in the coming days.
