My take on homosexuality

The recent legalisation of homosexuality in all the states of the United States of America (USA) sent shockwaves to the whole world.
Many have taken a stance on this issue, especially in Christian circles.

The clergymen in the USA have made declarations not to condone this act irrespective of the consequences of the law.

Some clergymen too see it as a wakeup call to all believers as the second coming of Christ draws nearer.

There is a difference between being a practicing homosexual and having a homosexual tendency. It is the practice that the Bible condemns, not the orientation.

There are many who have an attraction to their own sex but refuse to give in to it. By the power of the Holy Spirit, they have disciplined themselves to resist the temptation and to live in purity.

But those who give in to these acts stand the chance of paying a high price for their immoral lifestyles.
