Tweet into existence
Some days ago, I came across a highly instructive tweet by Twitter on Twitter (no pun intended).
It was just a four second animation of the words “Tweet it into existence.”
By the third day, it had grossed over 1.5 million views and had caught on among thousands of tweets.

Well, do you remember that in “How many hashtags are too many?”, I explained that you could capitalise on an existing trend and couch your own content around it?
Ivy Barley, a Ghanaian female techie hoisting the flag of Ghana high abroad, decided to tweet her own thing into existence…and it actually happened!
“I will host the CEO of Twitter, @paraga on my Twitter Space in the first quarter of 2022. *let's retweet until he sees this* #TweetItIntoExistence #SpaceswithIvy @TwitterSpaces,” she tweeted. A day later, the Twitter CEO hollers at his Chief Marketing Officer in a tweet: “Let’s do it! @leslieberland”. Talk about the power of words!
Check out her tweet and the corresponding feedback: Originally, the #tweetitintoexistence trend was inspired by Matthew A. Cherry, an actor, who decided as far back in 2012 to tweet that he’d be nominated for an Oscar one day.
Fast forward to 2020, he was not only nominated for an Oscar, but actually won it.
What
What is that burning desire or goal you want to achieve? What have you set your heart to get done this year?

Do you find yourself constantly complaining or giving excuses as to why you cannot get it done? Are your inadequacies drowning out the voice of possibility crying out for expression?
Take a bold stand today and speak it into existence!
You see, many do not realise it, but our words determine the outcome of our lives. Our words are seeds and they determine our end.
What are you saying concerning yourself and all that is connected to you? Demeaning words will create experiences of futility and negativity.

On the other hand, words of faith will create experiences of life and upliftment. I am a firm believer in the truth of God's word expressed in the Bible, and so notice that I indicated that words of faith are those that create the right experiences.
If you want to steer your life in the right direction, become conscious of what you are saying about yourself and that which pertains to you, and begin to make structural adjustments to speak in alignment with the Word- not just positive words.
Two
Let me take you on a short journey through two important scientific discoveries about words.

The first one is described by Dr. Cindy Trimm. She explains that when you speak, your words, being sound (which is also matter), move molecules.
Since molecules have memory, those molecules go into the atmosphere and eventually come back to you as an experience. Think about that!
Next up is the experiment a botanist conducted on two plants which had similar growth conditions. Both had the same levels of oxygen, moisture and light. However, this scientist decided to change one variable.

For one plant, he spoke precious words to it, such as, “You are beautiful. You are blossoming. Only good things come out of you. You will constantly flourish.”
Nevertheless, the other plant received harsh words such as, “You won’t amount to anything. You will wither and not have any colour.”
Guess what?! Eventually, the first plant bloomed, as spoken by the botanist. On the other hand, the second one, which he spoke demeaning words to, withered and died.
How sad! This is proof that what you say is what you get indeed.

What are you saying about yourself today, this week, this month, this new year? Refuse to allow other people’s blurred vision coax you into talking like them.
They may say that the economy is so bad, it is beyond repair. But come to think of it, how do the people in the West, who are far advanced, talk about their nations?
They talk right! They speak what they want to see into existence, not what is going on around them.

If you will just listen, you will know that this is how strategies for making it happen come to you. Distinguish yourself from the pack!
Talk what you want to see into existence today, will you?!
