Man walks into a McDonald's with a knife in his back

The victim was heard speaking to loved ones telling them it might be the last time they heard his voice, a witness said.A man calmly strolled into a New York McDonald’sRather than seek medical help, the man then walked into a nearby McDonald's while talking on his mobile phone.

Police were called and the man was rushed to hospital where he was said to be in a serious condition.

"Everybody was standing there to make sure he didn’t fall backwards on the knife," witness Tromaine Yancey said.

"He was on the phone, I'm pretty sure he was on the phone talking to somebody in his family or a loved one, he was talking to them and telling them it might be the last time he’s speaking to them.

"He just wanted them to hear his voice."

The suspects fled the scene and were last seen wearing white T-shirts, cops said.

No arrests have been made.
