The items included: Exercise books, chalk, mathematical sets, dictionaries, pen, pencils, shapners, crayons and erasers, which would boost effective teaching and learning at the school.
Making the donation, Mr Kwamena Anderson, Head of Organisation and Administration of GNAT, said the donation was part of a GH¢2000.00 consignment of educational materials earmarked for three selected schools in the Ashanti, Eastern and Volta regions, in support of the government’s efforts to promote education in the country.
Some officials of the Canadian Teachers Federation, who are on a four-week visit to Ghana, will also organise educational workshops on mathematics, science, basic designing, among others, for their Ghanaian counterparts.
