Slated for November 1 to November 4, 2024 in Nassau, Bahamas, a similar event will be held at the Sports Stadium of the University of Ghana from March 4 to 6, 2025.

The theme for both festivals is, “fostering creativity through music to promote national development and peace”.

In an interview with the CEO of World Star Records Ltd, Mr Ernest Djan, he said the festival in the Bahamas would project Ghana as an ideal tourist destination.

He said the aim is to attract people to be part of the March concert to experience Ghana’s food, music, fashion and culture.

The initiative, he explained, is to boost tourism for both countries, saying “the festival is aimed at creating an avenue for musicians, artists and exhibitors to showcase their crafts, while giving tourists an experience of a lifetime. This event will build a cordial relationship between Ghana and the Bahamas and also showcase Ghanaian culture to people in the Caribbean, as well as the diaspora. We hope to showcase and market Ghana’s rich cultural heritage to the rest of the world.”

Mr Djan said, World Star Records has secured the support of key stakeholders in Ghana, the United States of America (USA) and the Bahamas.

Illusions Promotions Records, Bahamas and C. K. O. Golden Record Label Company Ltd based in the USA are supporting the events.

He said his outfit was currently seeking support from individuals and organisations to make the event a success.
