Take advantage of government's investment in TVET

The Vice Chancellor (VC) of the Cape Coast Technical University (CCTU) Rt Rev. Professor Joshua Danso Owusu-Sekyere has advised technical university students to optimise government's emphasis on technical vocational education and training (TVET) to build themselves into invaluable human assets ready to support the forward march of the national accelerated development.

He noted that the future of the nation squarely lay on the shoulders of technical education and its products and urged the students to work hard to justify the investments made in them to propel the nation's growth.

"The expectation of the nation of you is very high and we hope you will realise that and ensure that you take advantage of all that is provided in the institution to make you an asset to the nation,” Rev. Prof. Owusu-Sekyere said at this year’s matriculation ceremony.
