3-day prayer crusade against same sex marriage scheduled for June 30
The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) is set to embark on a nationwide prayer crusade against same-sex marriage in Ghana.
The crusade is scheduled between June 30 and July 2, 2018.
According to the General Secretary of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council, Rev Emmanuel T. Barrigah, the three-day crusade is to raise people’s consciousness on the grave social choices of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) rights in Ghana.

Homosexuality is demonic thus it is about time Christians pray ceaselessly for God to intervene, he said in an interview on Accra-based Adom FM.
Mr Barrigah believes the pressure from Western countries to get Ghana and other African countries to embrace same-sex marriages are part of a bigger scheme to dominate the continent.
He noted that even the European Court on Human Right recently ruled unanimously against LGBT right so they will not allow any person to mislead the country.
He stated, however, that, although they will show love to gays and lesbians, they won't support its legalization.
Same-sex relations are illegal in 36 Commonwealth member states, including nine that have a maximum penalty of life imprisonment.
