Speaking at separate ceremonies to inaugurate the project, the Ejisu-Juaben Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Kwaku Afrifah Yamoah Ponko, said the provision of the borehole facilities was in fulfilment of the government’s promise to provide the people with amenities that would improve their wellbeing.

He also said the government was determined to ensure that the rural areas of the country received a fair share of development. In this direction, he said, rural communities would be provided with potable water, quality education, dependable healthcare and good roads to facilitate movement of people and goods.

He urged the people of Ejisu-Juaben to rally behind the government as it continued to seek their welfare.

The chiefs in the communities that received the boreholes  expressed their gratitude to the government and urged it to continue its agenda of developing the rural areas in the country.
