Asa Savings organises medical screening for clients

The Mile 50 branch of the Asa Savings and Loans Limited has organised a free medical health screening for residents of the area and its customers.

More than 150 residents, most of them women and children, benefited from the exercise.

Those diagnosed with minor health problems were provided with medication, while those with complicated health conditions were advised to visit hospitals for treatment.

Besides the screening, members of the community were advised on diabetes, the responsible use of medicines and the need to visit the hospital when ill.

The exercise formed part of the company’s social responsibilities and the demand of the communities.
