Speaking at separate church building dedication programmes in Accra, they said with God in the driving seat of affairs, the nation would overcome all challenges.

The two ministers of God are the Chairman of Christ Apostolic Church International (CACI),  Apostle Dr Stephen Kwame Amoani, and the Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church of Ghana, Most Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Asante.

“The country will meet the targets of our developmental efforts and enjoy all we are looking for as a nation if we place God first in our national affairs. The Lord should, therefore, be at the centre of all national plans and we need to invite him not only at the individual level but also at the national level,” Apostle Dr Amoani said at the dedication of a modern church complex for the North Kaneshie Central branch of the CACI in Accra.

Most Rev. Prof.  Asante, who is also the Chairman of the National Peace Council (NPC), made the call at the dedication of a chapel for the Dansoman Circuit of the Mount Olivet Methodist Society, saying “With God all things are possible."

Christ Apostolic Church building, North Kaneshie

Work on the two-storey CACI building, estimated at GH¢1,360,800, started eight years ago. It has a seating capacity of about 1,000.

It has a church auditorium, children’s fellowship centre, a conference hall, a recording studio, and offices for the reverend minister, the elders and deacons of the church.

Preaching on the theme: “Finding a place for the Lord”, Apostle Dr Amoani asked Christians to desire to get a place for the Lord in order to attract his blessings.

According to him, finding a place for God means that they should place Jesus Christ at the centre of their lives. He added that people who surrendered to God were blessed.

Gratitude

The Resident Pastor of the church, Rev. George Asante, thanked God for His mercies and added that, that had strengthened the members to contribute towards the construction of the building, which is a source of great inspiration not only for the church members but also the local community.

The Odorkor Area Head Pastor and Territorial Secretary of CACI, Rev. Enoch Osafo, led the congregation to thank God and pray for the nation.
