CFAO partners Societe General to offer competitive prices for cars

Societe General (SG) Ghana has entered into a partnership with CFAO Ghana, to launch a finance offer that seeks to provide a flexible payment plan for members of the public to purchase brand-new vehicles.

Dubbed the ‘Ride in Style’, the offer is aimed at assisting salaried workers, self-employed customers and small business owners to purchase cars and make as little as GH¢29 payments daily.

At the launch in Accra, the General Manager of Sales and Marketing at CFAO Ghana, Mr Augustine D’Yvoire, said the partnership was to help reduce the number of people “who buy second-hand vehicles in Ghana and assist them own brand-new cars at a flexible payment module”.

“You benefit from modern equipment in terms of safety, security, design and comfort; low consumption for smaller budget on fuel and obviously a 3yr/100,000km warranty for an ultimate peace of mind,” he said.

Mr D’Yvoire added that the company had created that platform to open up the chances for more people to own a brand-new car, adding that it was no coincidence that together with SG-Ghana an avenue had been created to help many people realise their dream.

“Offering a unique customer experience is a laudable objective, but the ultimate ambition of CFAO is to offer the best experience to the greatest number of people when purchasing or servicing their car,” he added.

Suitable plan

Outlining the procedure for the financing offer, the Managing Director of SG-Ghana, Mr Sionle Yeo, said interested persons “just need to step into any of our branches and you will have all the advice to be able to get a new car through this partnership”.

According to him, “The good thing is that our cherished customers have the option to take a loan or a lease at very competitive interest rates. In addition to that, you also have the ability to define the most convenient repayment duration for up to a maximum period of 60 months.”

The payment duration, Mr Yeo said, could be spread within a period of either 24, 36 or 48 months depending on the circumstances of the salaried workers, self-employed customers, small business owners, first-time borrowers or clients with existing loans who would like to add the financing of the car to their loan portfolio.

“Interested persons can choose a saloon car, an SUV, a van or a pickup within the range of Suzuki, Mitsubishi and Citroen models distributed by CFAO Ghana,” he added.
