It is a world first in augmented reality technology, allowing users to view what a room will look like in their colour of choice, before application of paint to the walls.

The Business Development Manager, Mr Luiz Carlos da Silva, said, “This groundbreaking app is a fun and simple way to contribute to personal design through digital technology. This is a great advancement in the Ghanaian paint industry and we are ecstatic to be the first to have this here.”

Done through the camera of a mobile device, he said, the app is easy to use and that in addition to enabling patrons to visualize a colour on the wall, the app also features the product and colour portfolio available in Ghana, together with all the technical information and options of colour schemes.

Mr da Silva further said the app was also able to provide the nearest authorized distributor with all the contact particulars.

The app received the most Innovative Mobile App of the year at the 2014 UK IT Industry Awards, beating seven other finalists. It is currently available in more than 44 countries worldwide.

Coral Paints launches the Coral Visualizer GH app on the theme “ Picture it before you paint it”.
