Coronavirus: Ghana's case count rises to 5,918

Ghana’s Coronavirus case count has increased to 5,918 after 183 new cases were confirmed.
The Director-General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr Patrick Aboagye addressing a press briefing today (May 19, 2020) in Accra said the new cases were recorded after the last update on May 17. The cases were recorded in only six regions of the country.
He further disclosed that two new deaths have also been recorded, increasing the death toll to 31.

The was no update in the number of recoveries with the figure still at 1,754.
