A suspected robber was arrested at Ejisu in the Ashanti Region on Saturday following a failed attempt to snatch a taxicab.
During his attempt to escape, the suspect lost control of the stolen vehicle and crashed it into a crowd, running over several individuals in the process.
The suspect is said to have snatched the taxicab from the driver within the Ejisu vicinity.
While speeding off, the suspect crashed the car.
A mob that quickly gathered at the scene apprehended him.
Police personnel from the nearby Ejisu Police Station arrived swiftly to take him into custody.
An eyewitness captured parts of the incident on video and shared it on social media.
