1000 Underprivileged children receive food, clothes

The Michelle Naa Adjeley Mensah Foundation made a significant impact over the weekend by providing essential supplies to 1,000 underprivileged children.

The donation, which included food and clothing, was part of a series of engaging activities for the children.

The beneficiary institutions were the Dzorwulu Special School, the juvenile correctional facility at Dzorwulu and the Echoing Hills Village at Madina.

For the past 11 years, the Michelle Naa Adjeley Mensah Foundation has focused on making a difference in the lives of vulnerable
children. 

Organisation’s mission

A representative of the foundation, Madam Millicent Ofori-Attah, emphasised the organisation's mission. 

"We believe that every child deserves love, care and support.Our goal is not only to provide material assistance but also to inspire these children to grow in faith and confidence," she
stated.

"Seeing the smiles on these children's faces makes all the hard work worthwhile.

We are here to show them they are not alone," Mrs Ofori-Attah added.

Gratitude

She also expressed her gratitude to volunteers who contributed in cash and in kind to support the donation exercise.

"We plan and hope to do more next year.

We ask more philanthropists and groups to undertake more initiatives like this to help underprivileged children," she concluded.

The Dzorwulu Special School received additionalsupportin the form of a long-awaited
lawn mower.

The Headmaster of the Dzorwulu Special School,FrederickTetteh,expressed gratitude for the donation.

"This equipment will help us maintain our grounds and provide a better environment for our students. 

"We appreciate the foundation's generosity and their commitment to our school," he said.
