Agbozo now heads Kumasi Collection of GRA Custom Division
The Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority has named the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) Evans Teye Agbozo, as the new head of the Kumasi Collection of the division.
Before his appointment as the Sector Commander, CRO Agbozo was the Second-in-Command for the Kumasi Collection.
He succeeds Assistant Commissioner Vivian Glover, who has begun her terminal leave prior to retirement after 37 years in service.
In confirming his appointment, the GRA Customs Division expressed the hope that CRO Agbozo would bring the same level of diligence and commitment he had exhibited throughout his career to bear on his latest role.
The Commissioner of the GRA Customs Division, Brigadier General Zibrim Ayorrogo, who was at the send-off and induction ceremony for the retiree and the new Kumasi head, urged Mr Abgozo to lead by example and ensuring that the he and his team maintained the standards set by his predecessor.
Brigadier Ayorrogo also congratulated Mrs Glover for her meritorious service to the authority and discharging her role at her final duty post with the same zeal as she did throughout the 37 years she served.

Mr Agbozo joined the Customs division of the GRA in 1991 as a Collection Assistant Grade III and worked through the ranks to his present position.
He has served as the Officer-in-charge of the Monitoring and Surveillance unit at the Post Clearance Audit in Tema.
Mr Agbozo is a member of the Institute of Directors – Ghana and holds a Master of Science degree in Corporate Planning and Governance from the University of Cape Coast.
He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics with Philosophy from the University of Ghana and a Diploma in Public Relations from the Ghana Institute of Journalism.
CRO Agbozo is assuming the position with a lot of experience as he has won for himself and the Command many prestigious laurels.
He is a two-time recipient of the Certificate of Merit from the World Customs Organisation for 2017 and 2023.
