Apostolic Church Women’s Ministry donates to orphanage

The Women’s Ministry of the Apostolic Church of Ghana, Adabraka District, last Sunday donated assorted items worth GH¢20,000 to the Royal Seed Home, (R.S.H) a facility that cares for orphans and vulnerable children.

The donation formed part of the women’s ministry’s annual activities aimed at bringing together its members and giving back to the community.

The items included bags of rice, cooking oil, sachets of drinking water, soft drinks, biscuits, sanitary pads, toilet rolls, tissues, towels, washing powder, cleaning detergents, disinfectants, dresses and GH¢2000 cash.

The Women’s District Leader of the Church, Deaconess Esther Darko Lartey, who donated the items, expressed the group’s commitment to supporting vulnerable children and ensuring their well-being every year.

“We are happy to support the Royal Seed Home by caring for these children. We believe that every child deserves a chance to thrive, and we are honoured to be a part of their journey,” she said.

The Founder of Royal Seed Home, Naomi Esi Amoah, urged governments and organisations to provide urgent support to them in the form of food aid, security and any other way possible.

The founder also called on the international community to come to their aid to help build a brighter future for the children.7

Mrs Amoah, who thanked the women’s ministry for their generosity, said: “We are grateful for this kind gesture, which will go a long way in supporting the upkeep of our children. God bless and replace whatever you have lost.”

The District Pastor of Apostolic Church of Ghana- Adabraka Central, Pastor Kwaku Oduro Nkansah, called on others to also give to the needy.
