Ghana’s Ambassador to Italy presents letters
Ghana’s Ambassador to Italy, Mrs Molly Anim Addo, has presented her letters of credence to the Italian President, Mr Sergio Mattarella, at the Quirinale, the Italian presidential palace.
She was accompanied by three members of staff of the Ghana Embassy in Rome. The three were Mr Hussein Mohammed, Ms Khadija Iddrisu, both Ministers Plenipotentiary, and Mr Robert Aguba, the Second Secretary.
On arrival at the Quirinale, Mrs Anim Addo inspected a guard of honour mounted by a detachment of the Italian Armed Forces at the courtyard after which she was ushered in to present her letters of credence.
After receiving the letters of credence, Mr Mattarella invited Ambassador Anim Addo into a separate hall with an interpreter for private discussions.
President Mattarella assured Ghana’s Ambassador of his readiness to co-operate in finding solutions to the challenges confronting Third World economies.
He added that he supported the linking up of the private sectors of the two countries for miscellaneous ventures in the interest of its people.
