Hearts unveil new players

Accra Hearts of Oak has unveiled eight new signings for the 2014/2015 season to the media and fans at a ceremony in Accra.

The octet are Leonard Tawiah, Foovi Aguidi, Isaac Oduro, Richard Yamoah, Vincent Atinga, Kwame Kizito, Hamza Abdulai Mohammed and Shaun October.

Former Ebusua Dwarfs defender Atinga, has joined the Phobians on a three-year deal and left-back Oduro was recruited from Okwawu United.

Mohammed is a former player of New Edubiase United and Wa All Stars; Aguidi is a former top scorer in Burkina Faso championship, while Yamoah joined the Phobians from Sekondi Hasaacas.

Kizito is a product of GlowLamp Academy, owned and run by former international star Nii Odartey Lamptey, while October previously played for South African second-tier side, Santos FC.

Other new signings from coach Hermert Addo's side include Burkina Faso international goalie Abdoulaye Soulama, who is on international duty with the Stallions, and shot-stopper Seidu Mutawakilu, who was in post for the Black Satellites side which played Qatar in a friendly last Tuesday.
