The event aimed at improving the relationship between employees and employers in various organisations in the country.

Having won three awards including the Overall Best HR organisation in the 2015 HR Focus Awards, MTN Ghana was selected to host the first leg of the HR Interactive session.

Speaking at the event which was held at the MTN Ridge head office, the HR executive of MTN Ghana, Mrs Amma Benneh Amponsah said, “It is good for an organisation to perform well, but if the employees of the organisation are not happy then you have not achieved anything.”.

She said designing policies and involving employees helps to increase and promote positive environment towards development.

The CEO of Laine Services and HR Focus magazine, Dr Mrs Ellen Hagan in a message to participants said, the platform was geared towards giving HR professionals the opportunity to engage and share ideas that will help transform and enhance their practice.

“HR practice in Ghana is encouraging, yet there is so much uncharted territory which can be explored and adapted to the benefit of organisations and indeed the nation as a whole, hence this new initiative by the HR Focus magazine,“ she said.

Another HR Focus conference which is slated for September 23, 2015 on the theme “Technology Driven HR; People, Processes and Performance,” was launched at the event.
