Hyundai Motors Unveils Made-in-Nigeria Hyundai Grand Family Sedan
Hyundai Motors last weekend took the wraps off one of its locally assembled Hyundai models at an interactive session with the local automobile media in Lagos.

The Hyundai Grand i10, as it is named, is an elegantly designed family sedan that comes in two likeable variants with 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmission powered by 1.25 Kappa Dual VTVT engine, respectively.
Jatin Nadkarni, the Head of Sales and Marketing, Hyundai Motors Nigeria, a division of the Stallion Group, told the media that the Hyundai Grand i10 was the proceed of the recently inaugurated Federal Government National Automotive Industrial Plan.
He said the Grand i10 had proved a point that a comfortable and spacious car didn’t have to be cumbersome.
“And that was Hyundai Motors’ conviction when it went to the drawing board to design this exceptionally cultured family sedan that will soon become the toast of most automobile freaks in the country,” he said.
Features of the car
Mr Nadkarni, who described the Grand i10 as a whole new level of art and innovation, said the feature-packed vehicle responded to every expectation with alluring cabin colour, textures and shape.
The features, he said, made the Grand i10 a sport appeal that could easily make any large car envious.
“From whatever angle you view this car, it is evident it was crafted to meet the utmost degree of needs,” he said, as he showed the media some of the attractive features that distinguished the sedan from others.

Explaining why the car was introduced, he said, “The world is changing every day and so we decided to also change the way people communicate with one another by introducing the Grand i10 — a car that lets you share a new language with the world.”

Manufactured only in petrol variant for the Nigerian market, the Grand offers light weight and robust 5-speed manual transmission and 4-speed automatic transmission that enhance smooth and accurate gearshift for optimum performance.

The Hyundai Grand does not compromise on safety.
