Kasoa: 17-year-old student drowns in pit

A 17-year old junior high school student of Kasoa Opeikuma on Saturday drowned in a quarry pit near Liberia Camp, in the Central Region.
He and his schoolmates had gone there to swim after weekend class.
The body of the JHS 3 student was retrieved from the stagnant water around midday on Sunday.
It was sent to the mortuary at Budumburam as the Liberia Camp police continue with their investigations.
