Kobi Hemaa adjudged TV personality of the year at Ghana Leadership Awards
A media personality and public relations practitioner, Kobi Hemaa Osisiadan-Bekoe, has been adjudged the TV personality of the year at the just ended Ghana Leadership Awards organised on December 28, 2019 in Accra.
Ghana Leadership Awards is an event that seeks to celebrate and recognise most outstanding and exemplary leadership that positively impacts the development of Ghana and Africa as a whole.
This year’s event was held on the theme: “The Leadership Future of the Ghanaian and the African Youth”.

Kobi Hemaa Osisiadan-Bekoe, who is also the Head of Corporate Communications of Ghana Post, was awarded for her outstanding and consistent promotion of Made in Ghana for over a decade.
She first appeared on TV in 2007 as the host and producer of ‘Ghana’s Pride’, a TV show which was aimed at showcasing and marketing Ghanaian products and culture as well as addressing trade and industry challenges.
She has since 2007 promoted Made in Ghana through television content production, advocacy and her personal knack for African wear, ranging from headgears, accessories made with beads and native sandals popularly called “ahenema”.
Kobi Hemaa who was recently inducted into the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG), joins former President Rawlings; Majority Leader, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu; Osabarima Kwesi Ata; President Akufo-Addo and Dr. Kweku Oteng who are previous recipients of the Ghana Leadership Awards.
Speaking to the media, she expressed her profound gratitude to all the media owners who have giving her the opportunity to showcase her talent through their network.
She also indicated that it was her passion to support entrepreneurship in the country, pledging her committed to serving the good people of Ghana.

The annual event convenes and showcases the highest level of leaders in business, government, academia, philanthropic, media, celebrity, the clergy and social sector players among others.

Other awardees at last year’s event included the Auditor General, Mr Daniel Yaw Domelevo (Auditor General), George Andah (MP and Deputy Minister of Communications), Hon Otiko Afisa Djaba (Former Gender, Children and Social Protection Minister), Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng (Executive Director Of Crime Check Foundation), Dr Mrs Leticia Osafo-Addo (CEO of SAMBA Foods), and Dr Akwasi Osei (Former CEO of Mental Health Authority).
