Marwako opens branch at La
One of Ghana’s growing fast food chains, Marwako Fast Food Limited, has opened a new branch at La in Accra.
It brings to four the number of branches that the company has in the country.

The other branches are situated at Abelenkpe, along the Mamobi-Nima Highway and the Spintex Road.
At the ceremony to inaugurate the La branch, the General Manager of the company, Mr Richmond Kponor, said the new branch would serve as a total food solution to the people of La and its environs.
“Consumers will have the opportunity to access world-class facilities, excellent service delivery and customer service,’’ he said.
Quality food
He explained that the company’s vision was to transform the food industry in the country by providing quality food in hygienic conditions and in an environmentally friendly manner.
“We are currently one of the fastest growing fast food entities in the country with a track record of excellent food service delivery and unique customer orientation. Our facilities are also conducive for any form of gathering,’’ he explained.
New branches
The Chairman of the company, Alhaji Muhammad Marwan Chaban, announced that the fast food provider intended to increase its branches to 10 by the end of 2020 in a bid to bring its services to the doorstep of its customers and also provide more job opportunities for the people.

“Apart from increasing our reach, we also want to supplement the government’s efforts to create jobs,’’ he stated.
Good news
The La Mantse, Nii Tettey Kpobi Tsuru, described the inauguration as good news for the people of the community, adding: “I am happy that fast food businesses, which normally target Osu and other areas, are also focusing on the La community.’’
He said the opening of the branch would help improve the livelihood of people in the community, as it would create more jobs and improve social amenities.
The colourful event was attended by notable personalities such as the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Dr Usman Nuhu Sharabutu, who cut the tape to inaugurate the facility; the Controller General of the Ghana Immigration Service, Mr Felix Sarpong; the Chairman of Rana Motors, Alhaji Muhammad Ahmad Odaymat, and the Second Vice-Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Harry Zakour.
