Missed the deadline? National Service registration extended to October 24

The National Service Authority (NSA) has extended the deadline for online registration for the 2025/2026 service year to Friday, October 24, 2025.

The extension comes after the original deadline, which was due to end on Wednesday, October 15, to give prospective national service personnel more time to complete their registration.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the NSA said the decision was taken to accommodate eligible graduates who, for various reasons, were unable to complete their registration within the initial period.

“The registration period has now been extended to Friday, 24th October 2025. This extension is to allow additional time for prospective service personnel who, for one reason or another, were unable to complete their registration within the initial window,” the statement noted.

The Authority also reminded all registered service personnel to report to their respective places of posting and commence their service by Monday, November 3, 2025. It cautioned that those who fail to complete registration by the new deadline “risk being excluded from this year’s postings.”

The NSA expressed its appreciation to stakeholders and participants for their cooperation and assured the public of its commitment to ensuring a seamless, transparent, and efficient registration and deployment exercise.

The 2025/2026 national service year is expected to deploy thousands of graduates across public and private institutions nationwide, contributing to national development through education, health, agriculture, and administrative support services.
