Philanthropist donates to King Jesus Charity Home
The Chief Executive of First Klass Group of Companies, Dr Steve Ogbordjor, has presented a number of items valued at GH¢2,100 to the King Jesus Charity Home at Boadi, near Kumasi.

The donation formed part of activities to mark of his 50th birthday.
He also gave out an amount of GH¢500 to support the home.
The items donated on the occasion included three bags of rice, a bag of sugar, three gallons of cooking oil, two cartons of Geisha Soap, two cartons of Key Soap, five cartons of toilet roll, two shaving machines, 200 exercise books and an assortment of medicines.
In a ceremony to hand over the items to the home, Dr Ogbordjor said the gesture was his contribution to the needy in society.
The Director of the home, Rev. Kofi Owusu Afriyie, who received the money and the items on behalf of the home, expressed gratitude to Dr Ogbordjor for his benevolence.
He said through contributions from benevolent individuals, groups and organisations, the home, which was established in 1995, continued to grow from strength to strength. He said the home had 138 inmates at the moment, 39 of whom were in basic and senior high schools.
He appealed to other public-spirited individuals and organisations in the country and abroad to support the home.
Dr Ogbordjor also organised a free medical screening exercise for the people of Praso in the Asante Akyem South District in the Ashanti Region. About 500 people were treated of various ailments at the event.
In addition, there was an inter-schools quiz competition held for six schools in Konongo-Odumase. The participating schools included Konongo-Odumase Senior High School (KOSS), Model Basic School, Konongo Mines School, Urban Council Junior High School, Konongo R/C A Primary School and Peace & Love International School.
