Additionally, Nana Amponsah has handed over three vehicles worth GH¢376,000 to the Fiaseman Senior High School, the Prestea Secondary Technical School and the Prestea Government Hospital.

Nana Amponsah, who is a sub-chief of Mampong Nsuta in the Ashanti Region, has also constructed link roads in the Kutukrom and Gwira Banso communities, both in the Western Region. He has further constructed an assembly hall at the cost of GH¢ 278,000 for the St Augustine’s Senior High School at Bogosu.

At a ceremony to hand over the projects, Nana Amponsah tasked the hospital and schools authorities to take good care of the buildings in order that they may last long and serve the people well.

He further charged the institutions that were presented with vehicles to maintain them regularly. He said he was motivated to put up the facilities and donate the vehicles to the beneficiary institutions because he considered education and health to be significant towards the growth of the society and country.

The District Chief Executive for Prestea Huni-Valley, Mr Wisdom Cudjoe, received the keys to the vehicles and thanked Nana Amponsah for the support. “Such noble gesture is worthy of emulation,” he said.

Some residents of Bogosu who were interviewed after the ceremony were grateful to Nana Amponsah for the support and promised to closely follow the progress of the various facilities presented.
