The hundreds of people who had gathered for the event were visibly agitated as many could not believe that power would go out on such an august occasion.

As if that was not enough, immediately power was restored, the rains set in, causing the ceremony to be delayed unduly. ??The event, which was held on the theme: for a while.??

Omanhene’s address

In his address to mark the occasion, which was on the theme; “Uniting Bremanman for accelerated development,” the Omanhene of the Breman Traditional Area, Odeefuo Amoakwa Buadu VIII, commended the government for completing the Asikuma, Benin and Baako water projects. He said the new water systems had brought about improved water supply to many communities. He also expressed congratulations to the government for extending electricity to 18 towns in the area.
