Handing over the items at the hospital, the president of the association and  paramount queenmother of Akpini in the Kpando traditional area, Mamaga Agbalisi IV, said the association made the donation out of its commitment to give to the needy and those in deprived communities.

She said the sick could get healed rapidly if they felt the passion of sympathisers.

Mamaga Agbalisi said it was necessary to show love to those who are languishing in jail, as part of the process to enhance their integration into the society.

The Deputy Manager of Nursing of the Margret Marquart Hospital, Ms Susana Dansua, who received the items, thanked the queenmothers for their gesture.
