Vetting: Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, Agnes Naa Momo Lartey to appear before Appointments Committee today
Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, the Minister-Designate for Gender, Children, and Social Protection, and Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, the Minister-Designate for Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry, are set to face questioning by the Appointments Committee of Parliament today for their approval.
Also to be vetted today is the Minister-Designate for Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs, Ahmed Ibrahim.
So far, the committee has vetted six nominees, including the Finance Minister-designate, Dr Cassiel Ato Baah Forson, Energy Minister-designate, John Jinapor and Attorney-General and Minister for Justice-designate, Dr Dominic Akuritinga Ayine on Monday, January 13, 2025.
The rest are Education Minister-Designate, Haruna Iddrisu, Agriculture Minister-designate, Eric Opoku and Roads and Highways Minister-designate, Kwame Governs Agbodza on Monday, January 20.
