IDL Africa Technologies, Globalmed Telemedicine to transform healthcare delivery in West Africa
IDL Africa Technologies, West-Africa (IDL), a systems integration and consulting company has entered into a reseller agreement with GlobalMed, a leading global virtual health platform company.
With its headquarters in Accra, IDL now offers GlobalMed’s complete line of telehealth solutions including delivery stations, medical devices and software.
This development, according to IDL, will advance quality urban and rural healthcare service delivery to Ghana and other West Africa countries including Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Togo and Senegal.

The Managing Director of IDL Africa Technologies, Thomas Asiamah said West Africa has huge potential for state-of-the-art telemedicine solutions.
“We see exciting and huge market potential for proven and state-of-the-art telemedicine solutions in West Africa”.
He added that “GlobalMed’s mobile telemedicine solutions meet the need to enhance our service portfolio and capability for corporate clients and their employees, and to expand access to care for medical personnel and the patients they serve in Ghana and West Africa.”
