Akufo-Addo out of Ghana for USA, UK visit

The 2016 flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has left Ghana for a visit to the United States and United Kingdom, a statement from his Press Secretary Mr Eugene Arhin has said.

It said Nana Addo who left Ghana on Monday July 18 would be away for 10 days and expected back in Ghana on Friday, July 29, 2016.
The statement did not say the purpose of the trip.
Nana Addo has been touring parts of the country in recent times as he campaigns to be elected president ahead of the 2016 general elections.
